聖誕紅山茶

I’ve had mine for a few weeks, and the evergreen foliage alone keeps this spot looking lively even in January. The bright winter blooms really popped open just in time for the holidays, exactly what I was hoping for.

The red blooms are so vivid they stop me in my tracks every time I walk past, and the fact that it stays evergreen while everything else goes dormant is exactly what I needed. It’s been a few weeks and the flowers haven’t dropped, which feels like a minor miracle for a winter plant.

Those bright red flowers are already popping against the dark green leaves, and it’s been in the ground less than a month. I was hoping for a little winter color and this camellia is delivering exactly that.
