I was a bit nervous about shipping a live plant, but the root system was beautifully wrapped in damp sphagnum moss and ready to plant right away. The leaves are thick and glossy, perfect for training up a trellis in my sunroom.

The vine arrived with several healthy aerial roots already forming, which made training it up my trellis really simple. I’ve had it for two months and it’s already put out about a foot of new growth.

I was a bit nervous about growing a tropical plant in my zone, but the vine arrived healthy and already has a few tiny aerial roots forming. It’s been two weeks and it’s already climbing up the moss pole I placed beside it, which is way more vigorous than I expected for a vanilla bean plant.
