LA Peppermint Camellia

The variegated petals on my first bloom looked like someone had dipped them in paint—each stripe is completely different. It’s been in my garden for three weeks and the colors are still shifting as new buds open.

I was nervous to see how the first bloom would turn out, but the playful color mix on each petal is honestly stunning—every flower feels like a tiny work of art. The plant itself seems healthy and vigorous, with glossy leaves that hold up well.

The blooms arrived a bit smaller than I expected, but the random red-and-white patterns are genuinely fun to watch develop. It’s been a few weeks and it’s already pushing out new growth.
