Flame Thrower® Redbud Tree

I planted this as a bare-root twig last spring and was blown away when the leaves started changing from green to yellow to red before they even dropped. The color progression is genuinely like watching a slow-motion firework show in my yard.

The new leaves on this tree started out a rich burgundy, then turned to a green with orange edges as the season went on. I’ve only had it a few weeks, but it’s already adding a ton of interest to my garden bed. A total eye-catcher.

The leaf color shift is really something—it started out a deep burgundy and then lit up with these fiery orange streaks that last for weeks. I planted mine in partial shade and it's still putting on a show.
