Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose

I planted this compact shrub last spring and the clusters of cinnamon-scented blooms have been non-stop since June. The spicy fragrance catches me by surprise every time I walk past.

The clusters of blooms are exactly what sold me—they make the whole shrub look like a tiny bouquet from across the yard. It's stayed compact so far, which is perfect for the front bed I tucked it into. Every time I water it I catch myself smiling.

The compact size means it fits perfectly in my small border garden, and the flowers have a surprisingly warm, spicy scent. I was hoping for a slightly more vibrant color in the blooms, but they're still lovely and romantic overall.
