Planted it near the back door in early fall and the fragrance already hits you every single morning, even when the temps dipped into the 40s. The blooms are surprisingly sturdy for a gardenia and the leaves stayed glossy through a light frost.

The fragrance hits you as soon as you walk outside, even on those cold mornings when nothing else is blooming. I've already got new flower buds forming just a few weeks after planting.

I’d always heard gardenias were finicky with cold snaps, but this one’s been solid through two light frosts and still pops out those creamy white blooms. The sweet fragrance hits you as soon as you step outside, even on a brisk morning—exactly what I was hoping for.
